Biography
Anna Mamchur is a Ukrainian artist born in the village of Nihyn, Kamianets-Podilskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region (Ukraine), and currently living and working in Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans, in the south of France.
Her educational path began at the Kamianets-Podilskyi Children’s Art School, followed by studies at the Kosiv College of Decorative and Applied Arts of the Lviv National Academy of Arts (2006–2008), where she worked with decorative painting and monumental art. In 2008–2013, Anna obtained a Master’s degree in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Architecture of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.
Anna Mamchur’s artistic journey began in childhood, when she participated in local and national competitions and exhibitions with drawings in hand, receiving her first diplomas, awards, and distinctions.

These events laid the foundation for her understanding of folk traditions in art and became the first important step in her artistic career.
After moving to France in 2022, her artistic practice developed in the context of Mediterranean light, southern landscapes, and artistic dialogues between Ukraine and Europe. The landscapes of the region, floral motifs, and symbolic imagery became integral elements of her visual language.
In 2022–2025, the artist gradually integrated into the French professional art environment. Her Master’s degree in Fine Arts was officially translated and recognised in France through the ENIC-NARIC system, confirming the equivalence of her artistic education to European standards. During this period, Anna Mamchur also became a member of La Maison des Artistes (France), thereby formalising her professional status as an artist within the French legal framework.
In 2026, Anna Mamchur became a member of CNFAP (the French National Council of Visual Arts), confirming her professional standing within the European art community.
