Participation in the international Arte Laguna Prize
This year, I submitted my works for the first time to the prestigious international Arte Laguna Prize — one of the most renowned art projects in Europe held annually in Venice. This competition brings together artists from all over the world, introducing new names in contemporary art and showcasing works in the exhibition spaces of the Arsenale.
For participation, I selected five paintings that reflect different aspects of my artistic journey — from symbolic painting to philosophical landscapes:
50 × 70 cm | 2024
A symbolic painting about the cycle of life. The sun, the cross, infinity and gold combine in philosophical painting with a Ukrainian soul.
Source of Life24 × 30 cm | 2025
A modern interpretation of the Ukrainian Berehynia: a motanka doll, embroidery, a wreath and ornaments. The image of feminine strength and protection.
Berehynia70 × 50 cm | 2025
Morning silence of Saint-Laurent, spring air and pure light. Harmony of architecture and nature.
Saint-Laurent. Memory of Light50 × 70 cm | 2025
The spring sky over Canigou, blooming gardens and an aromatic renewing space. The peace and strength of nature in a single canvas.
Spring Glow Over Canigou18 × 24 cm | 2025
A still life with a pomegranate — a symbol of fertility and inner energy on a deep dark background.
Pomegranate PowerI was informed that this time my works were not selected for the final exhibition in Venice. However, I accept this result calmly: participation in a competition of this level is already an important experience. It is a great honour for me that my paintings were reviewed by the international jury of the Arte Laguna Prize — a professional team of curators, gallerists and experts who evaluate works by artists from more than one hundred countries.
Arte Laguna Prize also provides an opportunity for all participants to present their works on the international online platform artelaguna.world, which opens additional paths to public visibility and acquaintance with collectors. I am grateful to the organisers and the jury for their attention to my work and the opportunity to be part of this process.
After receiving the results, I analyse my works and those of the finalists to understand how the international jury perceives contemporary painting and which artistic tendencies currently dominate in Europe. This is important work on self-development, an opportunity to rethink composition, presentation and concept. I am now preparing for the next application in 2026, taking this experience into account — with new works, a clearer structure of the portfolio and an expanded artistic vision.
My public profile is also presented on the competition’s international platform — artelaguna.world , where you can view my works and the main information about my participation.
In parallel, I am searching for new international competitions and exhibition projects where I can present my paintings. Follow updates on my website, on social media and in the “News” section, where I share the process and results.
I am sincerely grateful to my family, friends and everyone who supports me on this artistic journey. Their belief and kind words give me the strength to grow, work and continue my path in art.
