Artificial Intelligence and Living Creativity: Our Path Is Conscious

Artificial Intelligence and Living Creativity: Our Path Is Conscious

1. AI is everywhere — and we stay in reality

Artificial intelligence is everywhere today. It is discussed in the media, on courses, in business, and even in art. People fear it. Others admire it. It is being integrated everywhere.

Some automate shops, others create fake news and reviews. And some simply want to make routine work easier.

And here we are. People who also use AI — but with a clear mind and with heart.

We are not a stream of faceless images. Not an automatic generator of “content for the sake of content” and not another “quick business.” We are artists who choose tools consciously. We do not chase speed — we work for meaning and for results.

Imagine this: it is cold, raining, and you are hungry. You have two options — search for firewood, light a fire, wait until it flares up, or simply put the food in a microwave.

Three minutes later — it is hot, ready, and effortless.

That is how it is with AI. What used to take days now needs only a few hours. And that is genuinely comfortable.

But does the meal taste better if it is only reheated? Does it not lose something important — aroma, character, idea?

AI is not magic. It is a microwave. If you do not cook yourself — it will not create anything real.

2. It reads patterns — we see ideas

We do not idealise ourselves. And we do not idealise AI.

Yes, we use it. But not so that it does everything for us. We use it to ease what distracts from the main thing — creativity.

We do not ask it to think instead of us. We do not delegate our voice, taste, or style to it. But yes, we give it routine. And that is the entire difference.

AI helps with: translating technical texts, analysing trends, creating a basic sketch — when we are searching for a direction, not for an answer. Previously this took many hours.

But when creativity begins — AI falls silent. It does not know which option is the one. It does not feel the fine line between “almost there” and “this is it.” It cannot say why this brushstroke should be removed and another kept.

We ourselves review dozens of images. We sift. We edit. We add tiny details. We fix what feels “off.” We check how it looks in material, in print, in light, in motion.

AI will not do this. Because it does not feel. It does not see character. It does not understand that an image must carry a mood. And that a good work has eyes.

3. In a world of fakes, it is hard to find what is real

Today the whole internet is like a giant exhibition. And most “exhibits” there are not real.

Entire shops are created with AI: photos are fake, products are invented, reviews are written by a machine. They look attractive, they are properly optimised, and platforms promote them quickly.

On Etsy people sold non-existent knitting patterns. On Amazon — “unique” items that no one has ever held. On Facebook — ads for prints that no artist painted. All this is the work of machines pretending to be people.

The buyer cannot tell the difference. Because on the surface everything looks convincing: there are reviews, there are photos, there is even a “seller.” But behind it — there is no one. No soul, no idea, no responsibility.

The most dangerous thing is that platforms themselves do not see the difference. They promote what gets frequent clicks, likes, and purchases. The algorithm does not care who made it. And so the fabricated gains an advantage.

We cannot compete with factories that generate 10,000 “designs” a day. But we can say this: we are real. We have a face, a process, a story, a choice.

And you can see it. Even without a signature.

5. Photos AI will not create — because we are real in them

We publish photos with Anna. Not because we crave popularity or chase “likes.”

Artists are different. Modest, with a sense of measure, with taste. And usually — in the background.

But we realised: this is necessary.

Because only then can you see that we are human, not AI. That we truly work, create, and curate. That our items exist for real, not in an algorithm’s imagination.

This is not staged. It is a fragment of our real process.

And we want you to understand: you are buying not just a “product,” but the work of an artist, a designer, a creator.

Not in a supermarket. Not within a system. From a person — who was, is, and will remain real.

And the object you choose is created by hand and heart.

6. What is real is not always fast. But it is always tangible

AI can create a thousand pages in an hour, but we do not want to be the ones who chase quantity, because what is real is not made “on a conveyor.”

Our process is different: first — an idea, then — options, edits, doubts, printing, assessment, reworking. Only then — the finale. Sometimes it is a day, sometimes — a week. But when the result is ready, we can hold it and say: “This is ours.”

We often select images generated by AI. But not mechanically — we look at them as artists and keep only those with potential. We edit, refine, crop, adapt. Because a pretty picture is not yet a product, it is just a sketch. A product is the result of work, choice, responsibility.

That is why we do not have hundreds of “positions.” We have what is chosen, verified, felt.

Because everything that has meaning and deserves your attention requires effort and meticulous work.

7. I am not against AI. I am for soul in what is created

I am not a saint. And not a romantic who “writes only with a quill.” I am modern. I use tools that truly help. But I do not hand the steering wheel to artificial intelligence. Otherwise, my path is no longer mine.

I know that AI can ease work. That it is useful. Sometimes it even inspires. But it is not the author.

It does not know for whom I create and does not feel to whom I pass it.

Every day I ask myself:
— Is it honest?
— Is it harmonious?
— Is it mine?

And if the answer is “yes” — I release the work into the world. If not — I keep working.

Because I understand: my goal is not merely to make a product. It is to gift a mood, light, and warmth.

And no code — however ingenious — will ever do that.

8. Small business is not weakness. It is a choice.

We are not a corporation. We do not have limitless ad budgets or hundreds of employees. But we have what cannot be bought — sincerity, character, and humanity.

We do not create just an assortment. We create works. Paintings, prints, engravings, mugs — each item has passed through our choice, our experience, our taste. Each one is not just a product, but a connection.

You may find similar items elsewhere, but if you are looking for something with a story, with soul, with the author’s feeling — you are in the right place.

Our works are not made for the conveyor; they are for those who seek what is real. And you feel it even before buying.

9. A conclusion — without templates, but sincere

We are not perfect. But we are real. We do not hide behind avatars. We do not invent fake stories. We do not chase “the masses.” We work with conscience, taste, and humanity.

We use AI just as someone uses a phone or electricity. But we are the ones who create. We are the ones who curate. We take responsibility for every choice — we make the work.

That is why our works are alive. Each holds a thought, a choice, an emotion. And if you support this approach — you are already part of this story.

Have a look in our shop. Follow us on social media. Tell your friends. And remember: in a world full of copies, authenticity is the most valuable thing we can offer.

10. Postscript

This text was not written in an agency office. Nor by a team of marketers. It was written by an artist who simply wants to do what she knows how to do: create, paint, share beauty. And give her children a chance to live safely, without war, in a new country.

In 2022 our family had to leave home in Ukraine because of the war. Leave everything familiar. Start from scratch — without language, without support, without a single familiar face nearby. And despite a long period in France — the language is still very difficult. That is why AI for us is not a trend, but a lifesaving tool. It helps translate, formulate, and convey our thoughts when ordinary words get stuck on the tongue.

Words that come from the heart

We want to thank all nations and kind people around the world who opened the doors of their homes, hearts, schools, and institutions to millions of Ukrainians. Millions found refuge and protection.

But a special, deep, very personal thank you goes to France.

To the French people who did not leave our family alone. To French friends who appeared in our lives and became our support. To the French authorities who acted quickly, clearly, and humanely.

We felt not like outsiders, but welcomed. We were not only saved from danger — we were given a chance to live, create, and believe.

We carry this gratitude in our hearts every day, and it will stay with us for life.

The Mamchur Family

P.P.S.

Special thanks to my husband and children for their boundless support, understanding, and the inspiration they give every day. Your faith in me and in our work is something no powerful AI can replace. Without you I could not say “WE.” Thanks to you I can move forward with confidence and create what matters not only to me, but to all of us.
